As we have no fantasy board, I think Family is actually a good place to put this. Does anyboy like the "Harry Potter" movies?
For me, the first two were awesoem! But whilst the third was good and I got it on DVD too, it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. As I knew the storys of the first three before the films were released, I knew what to expect in some ways. But of course what usually happens, happened. Meaning if you read a book, the film doesn't always turn out the same. I believe it seemed as if the film was rushed a bit too much, rather than it was in the story. I know they cut things out, but it just made it looked as if it ran by a bit too quickly.
Any other views?

The only thing that I didn't like was that they had to find a new guy to play Dumbledore, and the dude they chose to play Siriuis Black in the 3rd movie isn't at all who I had in mind. Otherwise, ever actor and actress just fits so well with their parts, their characters. I love the movies, and it's too bad they can't put everything into the movie. Doing the fourth movie will be EXTREMELY hard, because of what all is going on.
I loved the movies just as much as I love the books. I'm incredibly anxious for the 6th book to come out, which it should here in June. And I can't wait to see the 4th movie, which is supposed to be sometime this summer, if I'm not mistaken.

The actor who plays Sirus Black is Gary Oloman. A very good and famours actor, and no, I don't think he matches the part. I mean he played it well, but his voice, and the look just doesn't really.

For some reason, I had it in my mind that Siriuis was a big bulky guy, not unlike Hagrid, just not as big. You know, kind of like a dark haired version of a Viking. Big broad chest and shoulders, long, greasy beard and hair, deep voice, things like that. Not sure who I would've picked as I don't know many British actors.

I think Harry Potter is more of a sci-fi movie rather than family... but anyways I liked the movies, I've only seen the first 2, I kinda grew out of watching them after that... but from what I did see, I liked. It had its funny parts..and it's dramatic ones as well.

No, it's classified as Fantasy. Why? Because sci-fi has to do with things based in the future; Harry Potter is a fantasy because it is based in our time, and couldn't happen (at least, as far as you "Muggles" know!) ;D

I wouldn't of thought Sci-Fic, and we do not have a Fantasy board. I am not making plans to bring one yet, as we have enough boards for now, so I think Family is fine. A Fantasy board maybe brought in the future though.

Does anyone know the date when it does? If it is this Summer, I am guessing July, August?

I'm not surprised that you would like the books more than the movies. Though the movies are really good, they cut things out of the movie, or change bits, and are nto always as good. The movies are still good though. I have to still get to know the story of the Fourth, still don't know it yet.
