Well its been a while but I been wanting to put this up for quite some time and now I've got the chance. This games been out for a while so now you can probably get a great deal on it. So here it is. Pain reviews:
Spartan Total Warrior
I played this game on the Gamecube and let me tell you it was great.
The graphics are really well done. With great looking main characters and even better looking scenery.
Spatan Total Warrior is rated M and for good. This game has so much blood and violence it makes Kill Bill look like The Care Bears, so those of you with weak constitutions should stay away. But for those of you who enjoy action there's no better way to quench your bloodlust then by decapitating literally hundreds of enemies. You get I nice selection of weapons each with its own God Power that will allow you to rain maximum devastation on your enemies. I reccomend letting a large group of enemies surround you and then let them have it with some lighting from your Blades of Athena. Now I'll be it that the story line lacks any real historical accuracy, other then the fact that at one point there was an emperor Tiberius, a Roman Empire, and a Greek Empire, but that's okay because the story the creators have come up with you'll quickly forget about plot fauts and have you only worried about killing the hudreds of enemies as you try to get to a health shrine before one of them gets in a lucky shot that brings you down. Not only does this game have a fun storymode, with maximum replayability, it also has an arena battle mode that will pit you and your allies against round after round of countless enemies, with each round getting tougher as your enemies get, smarter, harder to kill, and your allies get killed off until its only you against 150 of the hardest soldiers the game can throw at you.
Another great part about the game, and what gives it its replay value, is all the hidden unlockables you can find. You can find all sorts of cool extras like arena upgrades, such as new allies, bombs, and fire arrows. Never have I been so oppsessed with finding concept art, which is amazing and fun to look at.
There is only one big problem I have. Altough the soundtrack is fantastic and the characters deliver punchy lines now and again the lines can get repatative and annoying. Another thing, most of the characters sound British. Not that I don't like the British but I would have liked some diversity in the way the characters sound.
Overall however, this is one of the most addictive and fun games I have ever played. I encourage you all to buy it, if you haven't already.
Pain's rating: 9.9 out of 10
I am now open to any questions or disscussions about this game. If you have it already, but you're having trouble with playing it, I can give you tips on boss battles and arena fights.
